Church Plant Willoughby

People - Anderson, Lindsay and CarlyLindsay Anderson doesn’t fit the classic perception of an idealistic, rogue church planter.  For one thing, he has more than a couple of decades of ministry experience.  He has also proven he is a team-player as a staff member at one of our largest churches in BC.

In exploring where God wanted to use his leadership and experience in ministry, he and his wife, Carla, came to the conclusion that they were called to share the love of Christ in good deeds and good words in the context of church planting. God has led them to start a church in Willoughby, one of the fastest-growing communities in BC.

As Lindsay and Carla begin the arduous task of raising support, building a core and clarifying the vision for the new church, their hope is that many will discover a greater purpose to life than the pleasures of a suburban life-style.  “We pray that people will become a part of a new community within that community, a community that is formed and shaped around Jesus.”
