Partnering for Social Justice

Fall 2015 - FAIR and IJM partnership announcement imageFellowship Aid and International Relief (FAIR) is pleased to announce a partnership that will bring to our churches new potential in helping to address the need for social justice in the developing world. This partnership with International Justice Mission will be formally announced at Fellowship National Conference in November 2015.

International Justice Mission is a global organization working to protect the poor. IJM partners with local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems. International Justice Mission Canada shares this vision, one that is in line with FAIR’s mission to alleviate human suffering and social injustice. We are very excited about this partnership and the possibilities it has to give our churches greater kingdom impact.

IJM brings to the table its history and expertise and allows FAIR to be able to do what it cannot do on its own: support the most vulnerable segments of societies where injustice reigns.

IJM will also help to resource our churches and raise a Biblical awareness of issues within their own communities that need to be addressed.

We believe that the development of a theology of justice will raise us to a greater level of understanding and involvement and better prepare us to live out Micah 6:8 “…And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
