Mabuhay Baptist Christian Church, Winnipeg, MB
We offer heartfelt thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, the “author and finisher of our faith,” and to the Fellowship Prairies Region. The year 2017 was an exciting year for Mabuhay Baptist Christian Church. We were guided in our mission by the Word of God in Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Ephesians 4:16; and Acts 1:8. Our purpose is to spread the Gospel of Christ and the Kingdom of God through participation in edification, worship, outreach, and the offering of resources. These commissions have added more meaning and direction to our regular Sunday service, Sunday school, prayer meetings, cell groups, baptism, music ministry, family camp, love fellowship, 12th Anniversary celebration, Christmas Cantata, basketball and volleyball evangelism, VBS for children, outdoor worship, support a missionary to Suriname, and adoption of four pastors in the Philippines. We continue to open our hearts to respond to God’s call and be laborers in His vineyard. It is always important to both strengthen the faith of the members and spread the Good News to others. Be resolute in purpose and give all honor and glory back to our Lord Jesus. “Be ye steadfast!” 1 Corinthians 15:58.
